Keep On Keeping On

Okay so it's a pretty dull report this time. My Shetland Tea Shawl from A Gathering of Lace is moving right forward without retracing any stitches. I made it through the first lace pattern and up to 290 stitches. I'll try to get a stretched out picture of it soon.

Now to put in a new lifeline before I start the next lace pattern. I'm using size 20 crochet cotton, only because I have a really ancient ball of it that doesn't get used for much else. Right now I'm taking a break from it for a day or two and working on the Ribby Cardi. So far I've got the back and left front completed and started on the right front. I'll save you from seeing still another picture of the dried herb Ribby Cardi in progress until later. I actually feel like I'm making progress this week. I also managed to squeeze in a couple of little surprise projects. Sorry no descriptions or pictures; it is a surprise after all. I liked them once I finished them; hopefully the recipient will too. I like exchanges but I agonize over them far longer than I should. It's been the perfect week for curling up with your knitting - dreary, rainy, and cold. So while I keeping on knitting, I leave you with some artistic pictures of sheep.
