Is That March I Saw Zooming Past?

That's how I feel right now. It seems like the first of March was just yesterday. It's been a busy month and a lot is being squeezed into it. Speaking of which, I'm trying to squeeze my blog update in today since I didn't do it last night and we'll be at a magic meeting tonight. I'm also at that awkward stage of all of my knitting where the progress photos aren't all that interesting and I'm not making a huge amount of progress on anything. I've been doing a few rows on the Kiri Shawl when I get a quiet moment to work on it.

It looks like a fancy bib in this picture, doesn't it? I ignored it to work on other things for a while, so I'm trying to get back into the habit of working on it a little each night.

Voting has started for La's DaFeet of Cuteness contest. There are some seriously cute feet of all kinds, so check them out if you haven't already. Voting ends this Friday at 5 pm La time.

Before I rush off, I've mentioned before how much ferrets love to crawl through tubes. Guess what else makes a nifty tube, at least if you are a ferret?

Monday

How's that for a title. Actually it hasn't been bad for a Monday. It's just that the weekend wasn't long enough since we had to work on Sunday. I did get to do a little knitting and spinning. I finished up my squares for the Blanket of Hope.

I did a bit of knitting on some other projects plus I did some spinning. So even though it was a short weekend, it was a productive one. We've been busy though so the weekend seems more like a blur. Hopefully this week will be a little calmer.

Turns out I also won a prize (an Anemoi mitten kit) in Mini's collection of chemo caps for Children's Hospital. About 1200 chemo caps were collected. That's a lot of caps and more than Children's Hospital can handle so they are sharing the wealth of caps with some other worthy causes. How cool is that?

So I'll leave you with a picture of Zoe playing in the box tube. Yes we still have it out for them to play in.
