Wednesday Sky and Stealth Knitting

What little knitting I've been doing this week has been stealth knitting. Well one isn't really stealth knitting but I'd rather the end result be a surprise. I'm not even sure they read my blog, but just in case I'm keeping them as stealth projects. Here's a little photo of the two projects to tempt you.

Stealth Knitting

They are both quick projects so that should give some of you a clue.

Since this is going to be a quick post and since today is the equinox, I'll leave you with some spring photos. There are a few narcissus coming up in the yard.

I also noticed today that the little redbud tree in our yard is blooming as well as the redbud trees in the forests on my way into the office. You get a bit of our sunny sky today as a bonus.

Wee Tiny Package

I received my Wee Tiny Sock for the Wee Tiny Sock Swap today. Toni sent me a sock made with Schaefer Anne, one of my favorite sock yarns.

Wee Tiny Sock

I don't know if you can tell from my photo but the yarn is dark green and navy and maybe some black. Makes me want to knit up some more socks with Anne. This was a fun swap. I don't do many swaps but this was super easy, fun, and stress free. Thanks Toni!

Last week we had a bit of a scare with Phoebe. The ferrets think it's fun to "help" us shower and get ready in the mornings. Phoebe is probably the most active ferret we've ever had and she often gets under foot. Well this particular morning she literally got under Rick's big man foot. Normally when something like this happens, she bounces right back. Not this time, though. So we rushed her to the vet to be checked out. Luckily she was only bruised and sore. She was back to her normal, bouncy self by the weekend.

"It feels good to feel good again."

We have a big magic show to do this coming weekend, well actually two, and Rick's folks are visiting. So if I suddenly disappear for a few days, I'm probably just busy with family and show preparations.
