Trying to get some knitting time

I actually got some knitting time this week. Not a lot of time but a little is better than none. Things are gradually clearing up. My cold is mostly gone except for the occasional sniffles. Elvis the dove is out of his rehab cage and back in the regular cage. His buddy Sophie has laid two eggs. Now normally we would just replace the eggs with fake eggs because we don't want to be overrun with doves. This time someone wants some doves, so we're going to let them hatch. Obviously Elvis got right down to business when he joined Sophie in the cage. A few days later, she was busy laying eggs.

Clyde is still growing.

Clyde ferret

"Don't mind me. I'm just tunneling under your stuff."

I did a little knitting on both pairs of socks I'm working on.

Clyde in the knitting stuff

"Let me help you get your knitting and camera out Mom."

The dark blob on the right in the picture below is the second Mountain Colors Bearfoot sock. Note to self, do not try taking a picture of both of these socks against a white background again.

Socks in progress

This coming weekend we get to go to a convention in Dayton, Ohio. Traveling means lots of knitting time, but we also have a lot to do before we go too. I guess it kind of evens out.
