Crazy Busy

That's been my life lately. It's actually been busy for a while. The crazy part started a couple of weeks ago. Work has been incredibly busy the last couple of weeks. Add in a few more social functions than we normally attend and life gets hectic. In the midst of all of this, I decided to get a new car, a Toyota Matrix in Cosmic Blue. I drive my cars until they drop and my old car was 15 years old and on its last legs. I was due a new car. So far I like it a lot. Of course that just added to craziness of the past week. Then this week we are going down to Orlando, Florida to spend a few days with Rick's cousin and her family. Things were much slower when we planned this trip. Anyway I'm hoping I get plenty of time to just sit and knit.

There has been some time for a little knitting though.

I'll be taking my shawl and some socks along with me to Florida.

It's still very hot and dry here so I rigged up an impromptu ferret swimming pool with a towel and a dishpan. Zoe and Katie seem to think it's just a giant water bowl. Clyde thinks of it as his own personal water park and pushes everyone else away.

"Is this really all for me!?"

 

"I bet I can find some buried treasure in here."

Yes his head really is under water. I'll try to post while I'm gone, but if not, I'll see you next week. I'm going to try to get back to regular irregular posting schedule.
