Vacation Countdown

I'm in the last hours of my vacation, so I thought I would show you a few pictures from our adventure yesterday. I actually have a finished object, but I haven't taken a picture yet.

Yesterday we went to Ponce Inlet, Florida near Daytona Beach. The first stop was lunch at a seafood restaurant right on the inlet. I think it was called the Lighthouse Restaurant. Our table was actually over the water. Here are a few views from our table. Click on the picture for a larger view.

After lunch, we decided to climb the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. It's the second tallest lighthouse in the US and a working lighthouse. The tallest is the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina.

After climbing the lighthouse, we decided to head to the beach. This is Rick and his cousin trying to catch a sand crab.
