Pile of yarn and a spindle

As The Yarn Turns

The tales of how I squeeze knitting and spinning into an already full life

Just Another Random Monday

1. All of those people in Minnesota willing the rain to come this way must be working. It's raining today and they're predicting a rainy week for us. We desperately need it so there's no complaining here.

2. I've got the first half of the Mystery Stole 3 finished. Now I just need to make another one just like it. It actually goes fairly quick once I sit down and work on it. I'm just having trouble making myself work on it.

3. Since it's been rainy lately, I've been spinning up this sunny fiber. It's only about two ounces but I found it at the yarn store the last time I was there. It wasn't clear from the package if it was intended for spinning or felting so I got a package to try. It spins up very nicely. Now I wish I had bought more.

4. Clyde apparently needs to contact someone over the weekend. First I found him trying to steal the telephone. Then he checked the messages on the answering machine. Then I found him dragging one of Rick's very old CB radios from the living room down the hall and into the ferret room. The thing is heavy too.

Now if people start leaving messages for him on the answering machine, I'm going to start worrying.
