Getting Ready for Thanksgiving

So far this week has been much better. It's still busy but more fun. The little magic show at the mall on Saturday went well. My favorite part was when we magically produced Santa Claus, who was the real star of the show. Once Santa Claus appeared, everyone completely forgot there had been magic show.

After the show, we wandered down to Tuesday Morning. I bought a knitting book, For the Love of Knitting. It looks like an interesting book. There are no patterns. It's mostly a book about the history of knitting and knitting as art.

They also had some alpaca yarn I liked but there was only a few balls so I decided to pass on it. I actually squeezed in some spinning too. I finally finished spinning and plying the orange wool. I really like this stuff. Too bad I don't have much of it.

Otherwise I've been preparing for Thanksgiving and visiting with a friend that's in town. I'll leave you with Clyde hiding a felt mouse in his box. Rick built this box for the ferrets a few years ago. They love it. One of these days I'll paint it if the ferrets left me have it long enough.

I hope everyone in the US has a pleasant Thanksgiving!
