Nothing But Busy

It looks like things will continue to be busy here until January. I'm hoping we'll catch a little break between Christmas and the New Year, but right now I'm not too sure. So my posting will probably be erratic. Today there is the usual work stuff, a doctor's appointment, a possible drive to a distant client, and then a more relaxing Christmas party in Huntsville about an hour away. It seems like every day this week has been like that. So you might guess that there hasn't been much knitting going on here. I've been working on my socks here and there. I did manage to finally set the twist on the yarn I spun a couple of weeks ago.

So I'll divert your attention with flowers and ferrets. My Christmas Cactus is actually blooming for Christmas this year.

This poor thing has suffered through many moves with me, one of them across country in October, and being turned over by cats and ferrets. Some years it's a Thanksgiving or Easter cactus. This year, it seems to be blooming on time.

The ferrets have been wild and crazy with the cooler weather. Here's Clyde and Zoe playing in the tube. Zoe is inside the tube on the right side of the picture. Clyde is getting ready to chase her in the tube.
