G is for ...

G is for Glad to be finished with taxes. I feel like my brain has been gouged out. The good news is that this was a better year. The bad news is that this was a better year. The important thing, though, is that the taxes are done. Our taxes always seem to be complicated and this year was no exception. Now I can get back to my knitting and spinning. I'm also glad that Rick thought of me today when he was at the mall. He stopped at Tuesday Morning and spotted a couple of knitting books. I guess Stephanie must have had an effect on him.

Of course the fact that he needs a new pair of mittens and he's seen me knit a lot of baby bibs may have affected his choice too. The Knit Baby Head & Toes! book has a lot of cute hats in it. The Knit Mittens! book has a wide variety of patterns for adults and children with instructions for different sizes. It will be fun knitting patterns from these books. Rick just might get fancier mittens this next time around.
