Just Couldn't Do It

Post to the blog that is. Last week spammers used an email address that goes to both me and Rick to send out their spam. That's not the bad part, though. The worse part was the hundreds of failed email messages we got each day for most of last week. After spending so much time with my delete key, I just didn't feel like blogging so this is mostly a catch up post. I even have a finished object with the ends woven in and everything. I might as well confess right now that I often take pictures of my socks before I've woven in the ends. I finally finished my long suffering Sockamania Ripple socks. They work out well for the cooler spring days.

Then this weekend I decided to do some work in our yard that was starting to masquerade as a jungle. With all of the rain and warm weather, we've got lots of flowers blooming right now. The lilac bush was in full bloom weekend before last so I cut off a few blooms and brought them in.

The ferrets have been absolutely crazy lately. They've been running, wrestling and dancing all through the house. Their favorite toy right now is a cheap duffle bag we bought at the dollar store. We bought it to store something in but they've claimed it. Apparently it's more fun to wrestle in the duffle bag than other areas of the house. I think that's Clyde's head sticking out. I tried to get them both in the shot but they were moving too fast. Dexter is deeper in the duffle bag.
