Catching Up

Last Thursday was our 14th anniversary. It was pretty low key but then our anniversary is usually low key. First Rick caught a cold while we were in Dayton. I thought I was lucky and didn't catch it. Apparently Rick didn't want me to feel left out and gave it to me. It wasn't a bad cold, just annoying. So we ordered pizza and watched movies. I did get two nice batches of flowers. I guess I could have combined them but I prefer more smaller bouquets than one big bouquet. The roses looked much better in real life than they did in my photo.

The long weekend came at just the right time too. We spent most of it relaxing around the house and doing a bit of yard work. I got in a bit of knitting and spinning time, but I didn't take pictures. Hopefully I'll remember next time. The long weekend was just what I needed.

I also switched to a new doctor last week which kind of made me nervous at first but I like him. He switched me to a different drug that works way better than the old one so I'm feeling pretty good. Or at least I will feel pretty good once the last remnants of this cold are gone.

The ferrets are all rested up from their trip to Dayton. Here's Clyde and Dexter playing hide and seek in a piece of tissue paper.

I'm off to figure out what I was doing before we left for Dayton. I still haven't gotten back in my groove.
