Too Hot to Blog

We've actually had reasonable temperatures for most of the spring. Well until today. It's in the 90s for the rest of the week and not cooling off much at night. Today was worse since right after we got home this afternoon, the power went off for two hours. That was just enough time for the house to really heat up and remind me that summer is my least favorite season.

Lavinia summer top

I did get my Lavinia top seamed up and the edges woven in. Now all I have to do is add the collar and crochet around the edges. If I'm lucky, I may even get it done before it cools off.

Now that warmer weather is here, Dexter has slimmed down. It's getting hard to tell him and Clyde apart. Clyde still has more of a string bean shape. The warmer weather has them sleeping more. They still have their moments during the cooler parts of the day. There's actually two ferrets in this picture. One is in the cardboard tube.
