The Blurry Photo and Knitting Edition

As luck would have it, two out three of my photos today are very blurry. One is a cell phone picture at night. The other is just bad photography. So you've been warned.

Every year around Halloween they have a ghost walk of haunted places downtown. I've always wanted to go but something always happens. So when I heard there was an extra tour this past Friday, I had to go. The tours are led by Debra Glass, author of romance novels and some books on local ghost stories. That's her beyond the heads in the blurry cell phone photo below.

Ghost tour with Debra Glass

This extra tour started out as a special tour for a 3rd grade ghost club (That's the back of their heads in the photo above.). Word got out that there was an extra ghost tour and we ended up with a big crowd of people. It was a beautiful night for a walking tour. Debra does a great job leading the tour. She throws in a lot of the history of the location and people in addition to the actual ghost story. Some of the 3rd graders even took notes, the secretary of the club I assume. No ghosts were spotted during our tour though.

Speaking of romance novels, Chris is giving away five copies of It Happened One Night by Lisa Dale. Deadline for entering is November 16.

I'm making slow progress on my Drops Jacket, still knitting the back but getting close to the armholes. This photo is close to the actual color.

The nice thing is that it's good, boring TV knitting. The bad thing is that I don't actually watch that much TV. I'll be glad when I finish the back and move on to smaller pieces.

I went into the bedroom the other day and saw this lump in the bed, under the covers. I pulled back the comforter and found Zoe's newest napping spot. The picture is blurry but just too cute to toss. I was trying to snap quickly before she got up.
